Braintree is a service provided by the global giant, PayPal. So what’s the difference you may be thinking? Well, Braintree’s pricing is a lot simpler to understand and get your head around, they charge a flat-rate fee of 1.9% + £0.20 per transaction (Amex: 2.4% + £0.20).

WorldPay Online
Worldpay is one of the most popular online payment processing companies in the UK and business owners love them for a whole host of reasons; their flexible pricing plans, super-secure security and acceptance of all credit and debit cards.
WorldPay allows you to select a ‘pay as you go’ option where you’ll have an initial set up fee of £25 followed by a 10p per transaction gateway fee. Alternatively, you can select their monthly fee which is £19.95 plus 2.75% for credit card payments and 0.75% for debit card payments.
